Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser

Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser is the newly appointed minister of transport of º£½ÇÖ±²¥.

The appointment was made in one of several royal decrees issued by º£½ÇÖ±²¥â€™s King Salman on Wednesday. Nabeel Al-Amoudi was relieved of his position as minister of transport. 

Al-Jasser also served as director general of º£½ÇÖ±²¥n Airlines Corp. from August 2014 until his appointment as transport minister.

Al-Jasser holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, and a master’s degree in civil engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh.

He also obtained a master’s degree in business administration from King Saud University.

He previously served as the chief executive officer of the National Shipping Co. of º£½ÇÖ±²¥, and has more than 30 years of experience in areas including business management and maritime, land and air transportation in both the private and public sectors. 

Al-Jasser served as a director at Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance and the Middle East Financial Investment Co.

He has also worked as a director of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, and a non-executive director of Saudi Airlines Catering Co. He was also associated with Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) as a director.
